It is interesting to note that I am writing this hub as I am sitting at the track during my first ever visit to Churchill Downs exactly one week before Derby Day in 2010. The track is sloppy and I have not picked many winners so I pulled out my laptop to write about the horse racing tracks I've been to. This list is part of our quest to visit many of the fine horse racing tracks across the USA.

NFL Hall of Fame - John Elway

One of the greatest football players in the history of the NFL, John Elway, with his arm, experience and leadership guided the Denver Broncos to AFC Championship games and several Super Bowls. The Olympic Games in Mexico

The 1968 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XIX Olympiad, were an international multi-sport event held in Mexico City in October 1968. The 1968 Games were the first Olympic Games hosted by a developing country.

US Masters Golf

It is hard to believe now but it has been more than ten years has passed since the then junior rookie Tiger Woods burst open the door onto the Professional Golf Circuit and won the US Golf Masters tournament at Augusta. The Masters Golf tournament is one of the premier golf tournaments each year. When the winner puts on the green jacket he knows he is in the history of champion golfers.

NFL Hall of Fame Walter Payton

You can see on the time line of Walter Payton's life and why he meant so much to the world of sports and to the city of Chicago. He was one of the greatest player to ever play for the Chicago Bears. 'Sweetness' was an inspiration to every sportsfan that ever saw him play a football game. A Hall of Fame NFL player who is a legend to the game of football.
